I am a gal of appreciating the simple things in life and these are the days that are usually my favorite type! Today was one of those days!
I have now started maternity leave and Callum had a day off today so we decided to have a scrumptious cooked breakfast and watch the release of the newest addition to one of our favourite films;Before Midnight. If you haven’t seen Before Sunrise or Before Sunset I urge you to, immediately! It was on at our local 1920s cinema and was the perfect setting for a beautiful afternoon film. The latest installment to the films did not disappoint and had the perfect combination of scenery, dialogue, humour and genuine relationship.
After the film, we walked/trekked/waddled home after a quick detour to pick up refreshments in the form of french stick and chocolate Belgian bun. Needless to say the chocolate delight was best wolfed down with a coffee.
I decided today would be the perfect day to wear my new shoes (massive thanks to Barratts who let me pick them!) and they definitely were a good pick! I love the pattern, they really similar to a pair I nearly bought from Cath Kidson but at a snip of the price (I think these were only about £8 on the website?!) and perfect summer material!
